If the latest rumours stand true, then it can be said that Sony is planning to conduct an event in Shanghai on the 12th of November on the occasion of the launch of their upcoming phones. And it is on this auspicious day that Sony will launch two new Xperia models.

One of the models is namely the Z1S which a Chinese site had claimed as “digi-wo”. As the name goes, the phone is going to be the successor of the Xperia Z1. As the reports suggest, the new Xperia Z1S will be featured with a 4.3 inch 720p display along with the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 chip.

The other Xperia model which Sony is going to introduce bears an interesting name, the Sony Xperia “Tianchi”. Unlike the former one, the Tianchi is designed especially for the budget-minded customers. But this doesn’t confine the phone’s features. The Tianchi will sport an 8 core processor, wherein the 8 core is going to be Media Tek’s first “true octa core” processor. The name “8 core” is justified as all the eight out of the A7 cores can be operated concurrently. The other important feature of the Tianchi is its 6inch 1280×720 display.

Therefore with just a few days away from the release of the devices, we can just hope to get a few glimpses of the pictures soon.
