Samsung Galaxy S III suspends 4.3 Android upgrade

After several reports were issued against the Android 4.3 upgrade, Samsung team suspends its update. Users in USA reported against its unresponsive lock screen and faulty battery related issues. Apart from USA, few users in India also reported the same. Android 4.3 was released in early November, the issues which came into limelight from the upgrade was: poor RAM management, bad Wi-Fi connectivity, worse battery backup and severe system hang up problems. Some audio playback issues connecting via Bluetooth and wakeup lag which sometimes hang the system so much that it requires a hard restart.


Since then, Samsung pulled out the update via FOTA and Samsung’s desktop application, Kies. Although it has not mentioned the time when it will released the debugged version of the upgrade.

South Korea is yet to see the update for Galaxy Note III officially. The Samsung officials commented that they will work on its upgrade and make sure to give the customers best mobile experience. They further ensured to upgrade it to the earliest in the earliest possibility.
