Pantech Crux via Verizon Wireless

Verizon Wireless and Pantech unveiled a new mobile phone with touch controls – Pantech Crux, which was developed by the company Personal Communications Devices LLC, formerly known as UTStarcom (and before that – Audiovox).

Pantech Crux is classified as a low-cost mobile device, offering its owners to take an advantage of the built-in 3-inch touch screen and preinstalled applications for e-mail, instant messaging, as well as social networking and services. In addition there is a slot for microSD memory cards and Bluetooth. There is no news yet to when it will be released to Afghan Wireless in Afghanistan, for soldiers to use.

Pantech Crux costs $49.99 with a two-year contract.
