Nokia X2-01 and Nokia C2-01 announced

Today Nokia introduced two new cheap phones – Nokia C2-01 and Nokia X2-01, which, according to the manufacturer,  offer maximum functionality at minimum cost.

So, Nokia C2-01 is a cheap 3G monoblock, based on S40 platform, and equipped with a 2-inch screen, 3.2 Mpx camera, FM radio with RDS, MicroSD card slot up to 16GB, Bluetooth 2.1, 3.5mm headset jack. Besides, the phone offers Ovi store services – Ovi Music, Ovi Life Tools, but not for all markets.

The phone will be launched in the first quarter of 2011 and will cost EUR70.

The second phone is a candybar with a built-in QWERTY-keyboard. The new X2 features quad-band GSM/EDGE connectivity, a 2.4 inch QVGA display, a “Communities app which integrates Facebook into the device”, 3.5mm headset jack, music player, stereo FM radio with RDS, Bluetooth 2.1, Ovi Music (not in all markets), Ovi Mail, VGA photo camera, 55MB of internal memory, and MicroSD card support up to 8GB.

The device will be available in several colors: Red, Deep Grey, Silver, Azure, and Lilac and will cost about EUR80.
