Metro UI Theme On Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1

Metro UI, the visiting card of Microsoft offers many awesome features. Even many Android fans agree with this. But it seems Android users want something other than just feasting their eyes on those Windows Phone-packed devices. One thing we can do is to turn to XDA Developers. They like playing with different software and hardware features, to be more precise they love mixing them. Simply have a look at the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1, which now runs a theme similar to Metro UI.

The theme seen on the Galaxy Tab is not just a set of Metro-fied icons. The developers have worked hard and considered every detail to fit the graphics into the software. Looks like they’ve succeeded. Besides the customized homescreen users can also find a changed status bar, a whole set of matching widgets the numbers of which will grow periodically.

The theme can be installed on the Samsung Galaxy Tab by using ClockworkMod recovery. It doesn’t mean there won’t be bugs, vice versa; this is a beta version and you must be ready to have many features not working. Mash the play button of the video below to find out what experience this Metro UI theme brings to an Android tablet.
