HTC Launches 3D Smartphone In Australia

HTC has launched its latest hand device, a 3D camera phone in Australia. The HTC EVO 3D features two 5 megapixel cameras for making 3D videos and shooting high quality photos. The smartphone runs on dual core 1.2 Gigahertz processor. It is the latest device by HTC that is using the Android’s latest Gingerbread operating system.

The HTC EVO 3D has a front facing 1.3 megapixel camera. It also sports a 1730 milliamp hour removable battery. The smartphone is expected to have bright sales it allows it users to see the 3D effect without having to wear glasses. The EVO 3D has a 4.3 inch screen as well as a high screen resolution.

The latest smartphone by HTC has scope for a micros SD slot and uses the same user interface as that of the HTC sense. The phone also supports DLNA for playing shared network media.

The launch date of the EVO 3D varies with different providers. Vodafone has made the phone available at $5 a month on a Vodafone $65 Infinite Plan over 24 months. Telstra is expected to launch the phone on September 20 whereas Optus has not yet decided about the launch date of the smartphone.
