It is proclaimed that Google’s Android 4.4 KitKat that was released on this Halloween was not an accidental release, as it was an obvious fact that Nestle would have a hand in that.

After much cross checks, it has been affirmed that the much spoken about OS upgrade has finally been introduced in the Nexus 5 Smartphone. As long as the other devices are concerned, namely the Nexus 4, Nexus 7, Nexus 10, Samsung Galaxy S4 and the HTC One, they will be getting the Android KitKat benefits in the near future, says Google.

Coming back to the latest introduction, the Nexus 5, which was released on this Halloween is now available and sold through the Carphone Warehouse, Sprint, T-Mobile, Amazon, Best Buy and Radio Shack.

The Android 4.4 KitKat brings before us just minor changes. Amongst the new changes are the new OS which provides a cleaner look with a less cluttered feel, including a new immersive mode hiding all the functions excluding the one you are currently using.

The application of the phone has also been redesigned and therefore it makes it easier to search for the contacts. This application will showcase the contacts on the basis of priority, i.e. the one’s you contact the most will be placed first.

And as already had been rumoured, the SMS and the MMS messages have been merged with the Hangouts application.
