Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray To Hit The Stores In August

The Carphone Warehouse has announced that it would be selling the lightweight Android phone, Sony Ericsson Xperia ray from the month of August. This handset has some very impressive features and was announced just last week. This handset operates on 2.3 Gingerbread that is the latest version of Google’s Android operating system. The phone has a slim look that contributes to its light weighted body. The thickness of the phone is 9.4mm. The latest model by Sony Ericsson has a nifty 8.1 megapixel front facing camera and a 1GHz processor. The camera of the phone runs on the Exmor R CMOS sensor that first made its appearance in the Xperia Arc.

Sony Ericsson Xperia ray features a 3.3-inch touchscreen and a 720p high-definition video courtesy to the Bravia Engine image-processing software. This feature has been adopted from the technology that has been used in cameras and televisions by Sony Ericsson. Another feature that is available with this handset is ‘Facebook inside Xperia’. This feature allows picking up photos, calendar and updates from Facebook and keeping them in your phone.
