Engadget once again published information that Sony Ericsson is planning to release PSP phone. But this time, as they claim,it is serious: the presentation of the ecosystem (gaming phone and game for it) will be held in October of this year.

And by the time Sony Ericsson PSP should run Android 3.0 OS. In addition, the resource unveiled some technical specifications of the phone, among them the gaming panel, which will replace the traditional QWERTY keyboard, d-pad, and a long touch pad instead of joystick.

The touch screen will have a diagonal of 3.7 to 4.1 inches and WVGA resolution of 480×800 pixels. Also the smartphone will be equipped with a 5-megapixel camera and  1 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor.
