Samsung Transform via Sprint

Sprint and Samsung officially introduced a new Android smartphone – Samsung Transform. This model, presented during the CTIA Enterprise & Applications, 2010, is a touchscreen with sliding QWERTY-keyboard. Samsung Transform supports the new operator’s service Sprint ID, which offers software packages, widgets, ringtones and wallpapers for Android devices.

In addition to the full-size QWERTY keyboard and 3.5-inch HVGA touch screen, Samsung Transform is equipped with a 3.2 megapixel camera with backlight and a VGA camera for video calls, 800 MHz processor, Android 2.1 OS which can be upgraded the 2.2 version, support for various carrier services, wireless Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and GPS navigation.

The Transform will be available for sale starting October 10 for $149.99 with a 2-year contract.
