Samsung Galaxy S II Expected To Be Unveiled On 26 May

It is expected that Samsung would launch its dual-core Galaxy S II Android cell phone on May 26 in Australia subsequent to its launch in Korea and UK. The company has described the launch of this handset as the biggest launch for Samsung in the current year. This latest smart phone by Samsung has a resolution of 800×480 with an 8 megapixel camera at the back which can be doubled as a 1080p HD video recorder. Galaxy S II also has a front camera of 2-megapixel for making video calls. The best feature of this smart phone is its design. The thickness of the phone is just 8.49mm giving it a very slim look and making it probably the thinnest smartphone ever launched till now.

Galaxy S II has a dual core processor of 1.2 GHz for faster performance along with 16 GB of internal memory and 1 GB of RAM. The smart phone comes with a micro SD card slot for further storage. It is expected that Samsung Galaxy S II may have scope for an integrated NFC chip. It is declared by Samsung that it would launch two different versions of Galaxy S II- with and without NFC. It is still not revealed by the company whether the Galaxy S II launched in Australia will include NFC or not.
