Samsung Continuum is official

Samsung has announced a new smartphone called Continuum, equipped with two displays and running Android 2.1. The device will hit the shelves of the US on November 11. The phone costs $200 with a contract. Samsung Continuum will be available via Verizon.

As we mentioned, the device is equipped with two displays: the main display is 3,4” and the additional – 1,8”, both the screen are Super AMOLED. The additional display, which is located at the bottom of the front side of the smartphone, under the main display, alerts the users of new massages and e-mails, shows the time and date, controls the music player e.t.c.

The device is powered by a 1GHz Samsung Hummingbird processor, features a 5Mpx camera with autofocus, LED flash and 720p video recording, 3.5 mm audio jack, a slot for microSD memory cards (8GB), Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPS and accelerometer.
