Samsung Bringing Back Flip Phones

Flip phones have disappeared from the scene but now thanks to Samsung they are now making a comeback. The company is rumored to be working on an Android flip phone and the company has confirmed these reports by posting a image of the forthcoming flip phone on its website in China.

This device has been named W789 and has two screens – there is one on the cover and another on the inside of the device. This device is very small and narrow and comes in a shell that is light purple in color and also has a retro numerical keyboard used for dialing.

The screens of the flip phone measure 3.3 inches and is 320 by 480 pixels in resolution. This phone operates on a 1.2 GHZ quad core processor and it comes with a 5MP rear camera and has about 8 GB of storage. This phone also operates on the Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. This device ahs a micro SD slot and there are slots for keeping two Sim cards. This means you get the scope of using the phone for both your personal and personal lives.

As of now you will find that this phone will not be coming to USA or Australia soon. It has only been listed in Chinese website of the company and there are no plans by the company to sell it as of now.
