Samsung has announced a phone with dual sim-card support. The new phone, named Samsung B7722, is the first dual SIM phone to feature 3G connectivity with standart HSDPA data standart, and allows to access the web via local Wi-Fi network.

The phone is equiiped with a 3.2-inch touch screen with a WQVGA resolution, 5-megapixel camera, Wi-Fi module and Bluetooth, FM-radio receiver and a slot for microSD memory cards.

The main advantage of Samsung B7722 is that it supports two sim-cards, although only one of its SIM cards works on 3G frequencies, the other one using GSM/GPRS/EDGE bands only..It is reported also that the phone has TouchWiz interface.

The Samsung B7722 has been officially introduced in Sweden, where it should be available starting this month for 4,000 SEK (about €418 or $505).
