Just a month ago for about 1.2 million apps were downloaded from the Ovi Store every single day. Now the number of downloads has increased. Each day 1.6 million apps are downloaded. At the premiere of the new iPhone OS 4.0 there was a great announcement the result of which was the downloading 4 billion applications from the App Store. So the users of Nokia should hurry up to reach this number. 
The number of devices that are compatible with Nokia’s Ovi Store is 100 and the 60 of them run Symbian. The list of the active visitors fill those who have the latest smartphones from Nokiasuch as example N900, X6, 5800 XpressMusic and etc.
The Ovi Store can be found in more than 80 countries and 66 operators in 19 of them have enabled mobile billing with the Ovi Store.
The costumers get a chance to pay for the apps without credit cards and the purchase amount is included in the costumers’ monthly phone bill.
The Ovi Store is accessible in 30 languages and costumers can pay for the app using their local currency. All these have made the Ovi Store downloads to grow more but it is not fast enough yet!
