Nokia Asha 303 Review

A couple of months ago, there were two big announcements made by Nokia. It’s time for the Asha handsets to step in the limelight now. The new Nokia Asha 303 ia making all efforts and leaving no stones unturned to offer a complete experience to the users. Nokia Asha 303, the new phone was announced at Nokia world 2011 in London. It seems the phone is all set to lead Nokia’s return to markets that Finns like to believe as their own. The phone was launched with other Asha phones like Nokia Asha 200, 201 and 300.

Known as the flagship of the Asha phones, Nokia Asha 303 is embedded with 1GHz ARM11 processor and provided low power single channel RAM with 128MB. With a powerful 1GHz processor, it has a complete QWERTY keyboard and supported by Nokia S40 operating system. Along with the pentaband 3G radio, WiFi and SIP VoIP over 3G, another attractive feature of this phone is that it comes with Angry Birds. So now you can play angry birds on Nokia Asha 303, a feature that is seen for the first time on a series 40 phone.

Some of the main disadvantages that the consumer can come across in Nokia Asha 303 are the fixed-focus camera that leaves little room for experimentation. There is no multitasking and other features that go amiss are smart dialing, video-call camera and document viewer. The non-hot-swappable memory card is another drawback.

However, Nokia Asha 303 phone is the best equipped handset. The original QWERTY/touchscreen S40 phone, along with USB-on-the-go and Wi-Fi, make it much commendable of a smartphone. It is still not a smart phone of course. The biggest exclusion is multitasking. But Asha 303 is well equipped to be a brilliant competitor in its class.

Let’s wrap up the page with a brief look at pros and cons of Nokia Asha 303

Pros

  • Multiple support for global GSM/UMTS network
  • 1000 MHz Fast processor
  • Convenient QWERTY Keypad
  •  Value for money
  •  Face detection camera

Cons

  • No multitasking
  •  No smart dialing
  • No document viewer
  •  Fixed-focus camera
  •  No video-call camera

It remains to be seen how Nokia Asha 303 will perform and deliver. If it is able to withstand the competition and delivers on time as well as price, the phone is surely going to create waves in the market. The competition is getting tougher and the consumer is becoming choosier. Only time can tell the actual impact of the phone.

Apart from the every big feature the speakers are so loud and clear that i keep listening music anytime and every time. The Speakers are of very high quality i think, because they sound so crystal clear like HD.
Nokia always had the brand because of its powerful battery and mobile hardware, nut i would say that during course of time Nokia has got the much powerful phone speakers.
The touch screen is also big and the qwerty keypad is really nice. Typing is so easy and also i have got direct short cuts like maximize youtube videos and pause and play, mute and so many features in it.

The wider screen is always better for browsing the internet, also the OVI maps can be largely viewed. Larger screen helps for better customization of your instant access to apps and documents.

I really appreciate the touch and qwerty keypad efforts, Nokia Asha 303 looks so beautiful and sporty.
