Motorola’s Admiral will be available in the market from the next week at $99 with a Sprint contract. Although the price rate for the phone is kept low the company has not compromised on the features and functionality of the phone. The phone is more inclined towards the professional and enterprise market.

The Motorola’s Admiral Android Smartphone features a 3.1-inch touchscreen and a 5MP camera. It is powered by a 1.2GHz processor. A text-friendly QWERTY keyboard is incorporated in the handset and the Android 2.3 comes with the phone.  As it can be understood from the name the phone is equipped for rugged conditions. It can tackle every naturally occurring consumer-electronics challenges. It comes with scratch-resistant Gorilla Glass.

It is the one and only hand device offered by Sprint that features the carrier’s Direct Connect services, a portfolio of push-to-talk features that includes instant one-to-one calling, audio/text alerts for outgoing calls, and multiplayer calling for teams and groups of up to 200 people.

According to the vice president of Sprint the Motorola Admiral can offer instant communications and mobile broadband data access when it is most required. This new hand device will be made available in the retail stores of Sprint on Sunday, October 23. Customers wishing to buy this handset through online Sprint retail channels can get it on November 13.
