The Optimus LTE posses a 4.5-inch high-definition screen along with two cameras- a rear facing camera of 8-megapixel and a 1.3-megapixel camera in its front. The operating system of the phone is the Google’s gingerbread version whereas the phone is running on the Qualcomm Inc’s 1.5 GHz dual core processing chip.

The hardware of the Smartphone is identical to Samsung’s Galaxy S II LTE. LG has not yet decided the arrival date of the phone in the overseas markets. It is estimated by the analysts that the 1,400 LTE patents of the phone are worth $8 billion. It is expected that the loss faced by LG from handset sales has become worse from the second quarter because of the company’s decision to reduce shipments.

In the July of this year, LG had cut down its sales target of the Smartphone by 20 percent. It is predicted by many analysts that LG is going to do much profit in the coming year but after seeing the consecutive string of quarterly losses it is difficult to say if the analysts can prove right.
