HTC registered ”EVO Shift 4G” for a new device

As the Android Community reports, HTC has registered a new trademark ”HTC EVO Shift 4G”, to name of their next-gen 4G smartphone. Most likely, the Taiwanese manufacturer is planning to release a new version of its EVO 4G, which will also supports WiMAX networks.

Already there’s talk, however, of it being some sort of HTC tablet or MID, or at least a large-screen device with a slide-out QWERTY keyboard.

We should remind, that earlier HTC released HTC UMPC shift, runing Windows Vista Business OS and equipped with a QWERTY-keyboard.
