Apple tops Christmas shopping lists for teens

Apple products top Christmas shopping lists for teens this year according to a new survey from battery giant Duracell.

The company’s Toy Report found the top 10 most wanted gifts for this Christmas for children aged between five and 16 entirely dominated by Apple’s gadgets.

Around 14% of children questioned dream about the iPhone 4, 13% want to own iPod touch, and another 12% voted for the iPad.

This means around 39% of children questioned wanted Apple gadgets this year, with 17% of 5-8 year-olds, 50% of 9-12 year-olds and 66% of 13 to 16-year-olds all putting Apple items at the top of their Christmas wish lists.

    i completely understand why apple have dominated the christmas market so much though they provide top quality electronics which are seen to most as better than anything else such as blackberry’s or htc’s and another reason is people just love the apple name.
